Update and Suggested Action - Missouri Directive
Connect the document or event to those who were there, reported it, or passed it along. Document each step along with date, time, who you talked to, and what they said. Then confront those responsible with the document. In this instance the best people to do that are Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr. None of the three has issued any statement on the validity of the directive, which has been making the rounds for three weeks now.
The Missouri Directive - Content
As you go over the flyer, issued by Missouri Statistical Analysis Center, you will see it correctly identifies the many ways in which they have moved to corporatize us, our property, and the common infrastructure that was built and paid for through taxes. They use the strategy of the Big Lie, denying these exist. The psychological term for this strategy is “gas lighting.”
Note the list of crimes ascribed to what here is characterized as “The Militia Movement.” They are attempting to build the semblance of a broad and far reaching conspiracy by us against legitimate government.
Many of the “crimes” cited were unsuccessful, the actions, likely, of young men who should have known better or were acting out of frustration or even set up to use violence. Many of these also amount to a group of men getting together to fantasize actions they would never actually carry out. Let this be a warning to you. Be discerning in who you trust and what you say. If you have a meet up group of more than three people, and if you did not go to kindergarten with everyone and know you can trust them, assume one person is a spook on government pay.
They cite these, specific issues:
Ammunition Accountability Act – Defacto gun control
Anticipation of the economic collapse of the United States Government – (Like this was NOT mainstream knowledge)
Possible Constitutional Convention – This makes you wonder if we should support any such thing.
North American Union – Ask Texas, and TURF, if you doubt this is going forward. In the face of significant grass roots opposition they have broken up the proposal and are now piece mealing it, but it is continuing. Also ask Bob Poole, the founder of Reason Foundation who actually supports the corporatization of America's roads along with their long term lease to foreign powers. Some of our worst enemies began their careers among us and moved into corporate support for their own profit.
Universal Service Program – You do not need me to tell you why grabbing our young people is wrong.
Radio Frequency Identification RFID – This is actually aimed at the very effective opposition to the Real ID posed by Mark Lerner's group, Stop Real ID Coalition. The group produces model legislation that is being increasingly used by the legislative based 10th Amendment Movement, now in 31 state legislatures.
The Directive goes on to identify, “ideologies” which are characterized as right-wing extremist. These include, Christian Identify, White Nationalist, Sovereign Citizen, Militant Abortion, Tax-resisters, Anti-Immigration. We know this kind of information is being disseminated through local police, along with the same groups being identified as 'gangs.' I heard just this kind of presentation made by a local deputy sheriff to a local chapter of the National Coalition of Republican Women in 2007. Needless to say, I was shocked.
The next part of the Directive begins interpreting the information to suggest that action taken against the individuals holding these ideas is appropriate for law enforcement. Included is anyone who belongs to a political party that is not Republican or Democrat. If true, this is a violation of our Constitutional rights.

Law enforcement officers are then presented with the argument that these individuals present a danger to them personally, viewing them as 'the enemy.' This sets members of such groups, the general public, and law enforcement up for conflict. Most activists support law enforcement, simply denouncing those who fail to uphold the Constitution. The Directive goes on to deny there are interment camps set up in Missouri, positions opposition to the Federal Reserve as a marginal political issue, and provides well known symbols for freedom as proof of membership is groups that are potentially personally threatening to law enforcement. On the last page they name Zeitgeist, Freedom to Fascism, and The Turner Diaries as 'propaganda.'

I checked the phone numbers, which were the same on the governmental site for Missouri Statistical Analysis Center. I could not find any record of a Brandon Middleton or a Greg Hug with the agency. This needs to be followed up.
I then called Jim Guest's chief of staff, Louise. Louise told me that they had seen it and contacted the Records for Missouri. They admitted it had been issued. I am waiting to hear from Senator Guest directly. Louise then sent on to me this pdf file which mentions the same agencies but does not include this more specific information.
Paul, Baldwin and Barr should be asked to inquire, if they have not done so as of yet.
